On Wednesday, following the election, I heard the Lord say, “The nation is in limbo. “ I walked out of my prayer room and saw the headline on the television, “A Nation in Limbo!” Immediately, I looked up the word and found something surprising. “Limbo” has its origin in Catholicism. The Catholic meaning is “hades, pandemonium, and abyss.” As well, the dictionary says it means “an uncertain period, and awaiting a decision or resolution.” The antonyms for “limbo” are “above, heaven, bliss, glory, and kingdom come.” In order for the limbo state of America to shift, the church must pray, proclaim and call for His Kingdom to come and be established.
