Join Us! For a 10 Day Prayer Focus!
Jody & LaNora Morin
Dear Prophetic Revival Carriers,
As we begin 2016, let us focus together on what God is saying for the year ahead. When we were gathered together on Sunday, I heard the Lord say this to us:
The wonders and signs that will be seen in the earth realm this year will cause the skeptics and the cynics to be brought to a crossroads. (My impression was that the various things that will happen will be undeniable, notable signs and wonders.) As for My church, there will be a new administration of My glory. It will be a year to not only take possession of your promises but also to establish dominion! The mouths of the mockers will be shut. Others will stand with mouths wide open in awe. But, My church will speak in faith and establish the dominion of My kingdom and My glory.
There was more to this word, but this is what I remember. We will post the transcribed word in its entirety when we get it. In the meantime, we want to share with you 10 days to begin 2016 based on 10 wise proverbs from King Solomon. The Holy Spirit directed this way because we will NEED supernatural wisdom this year to dismantle the demonic structures that have been erected in the last season and to build a strong foundation for the war season ahead. Here are the first 5 days.
HERE ARE THE FIRST 5 DAYS
Day 1: “Prepare plans by consultation and make war by wise guidance.” Proverbs 20:18
Enter into this year by considering whose counsel you will seek for your strategy for the future.
Ask yourself, “Who has a testimony in their own lives that can help me overcome? What has hindered me from seeking counsel in the past? Who knows how to war with the Word of God?”
Seek the Lord for your help and schedule your first appointment for guidance. You may be surprised who He will direct you to contact. Be open.
Day 2: “The reward of humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, honor and life.” Proverbs 22:4
The mantle of humility and the fear of the Lord work together to bring us into places of influence and favor.
Ask yourself, “Are there any places in my life in which I have been operating in pride and/or presumption?”
Humble yourself before God in repentance. Be specific. Take another step and confess this to someone else so that you can be forgiven, healed, and move forward ready to receive the promised reward.
Day 3: “Apply your heart to discipline and your ears to words of knowledge.” Proverbs 23:12
If we discipline our hearts, we will discipline our bodies and our minds as well. He desires for us to have discipline so that we can grow into maturity and His image. 2 Timothy 1:7 is familiar to us: “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.” “Sound mind” literally means “discipline.” If we are going to walk free of fear, we must be disciplined in the Word so that our ears can be opened to His words of knowledge that He wants to speak to our hearts.
Ask yourself: “Are there areas in my life that need to be more disciplined? Do I want to be fearless and filled with His power?”
Consider how you will embrace a disciplined life style this year. Write it down and share it with a prayer partner and agree together.
Day 4: “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.” Proverbs 25:2
This is a year of intimacy with God and to seek for the secret things of His heart. Out of intimacy will come greater levels of authority. This is how His glory invades the earth through our lives.
Ask yourself, “Am I longing to know the Lord more? Do I want to go deeper this year? What has stopped me in the past from times of intense devotion?”
Set aside one hour to ask the Lord for this year’s plan for your daily devotions. Get one new study tool so that you can search out the secrets He wants to show you. Some of you may want to learn more about God’s calendar so that you can understand the times. Or maybe you will desire to take the online classes with FountainGate School of Revival. Day 5: “Like an earring of gold and an ornament of fine gold is a wise reprover to a listening ear.” Proverbs 25:12
Reproof means “correct, convict, reason with”. Being rightly aligned to Godly authority will be necessary for our safety this year. As we receive correction and direction, we will be marked with God’s glory in ways that are evident. If we can hear and receive reproof, we can be trusted with greater measures of the miraculous.
Ask yourself, “Do I resist correction by those in authority? What was the last correction/direction I received? How did I respond to that? Who will I allow to be completely honest with me to speak into my life?”
Give thanks to God for those He has placed in your life to speak correction and direction. Now, thank them and make a fresh commitment to have a listening ear so that you can increase in your giftings and calling.
Expecting with you for a great start of 2016!
