Kingdom Violence

Dear Faithful Warriors,

Almost daily we are hearing reports on the news of acts of terror and violence across our country and the world. The days we are living in could cause fear and trembling in our hearts unless we are Kingdom minded. The Word of God warns us that a day will come when men’s hearts will fail them because of fear. Often times, those of us who have a prophetic gifting can tend to pick up on the atmosphere around us and translate it into our personal lives. Right now, let us take a heart check together. Are we feeling overly anxious or nervous and we are not even sure what it is about? Do we have sense of dread? Does the fear of the unknown cause us to stay awake nights?

On Sunday, July 24th the Lord gave this word to me to share with our church. Now, I share it with you.

“I will have for Myself a people who have come to the end of themselves–who have come to the very end of their way of doing things. Like Moses of old, they will not just know My works, but will know My ways .They will walk in the Spirit and demonstrate the Christ-life throughout the earth. I will give them an authority that they haven’t known. They will be able to walk where they have feared to tread because I am giving them a violent love that will put

Satan underneath their feet. They will rise up with a praise that executes My vengeance. Regardless of their circumstances, or what they are going through, they will not be brought down because they walk with Me in the heavenlies. They will execute My vengeance against the evil one, for the accuser has been thrown down. I will raise up a testimony in My glorious people, who testify not only of what I have done in them, but the testimony is also what I will do through them. For I am raising up a miracle-working, signs and wonders people whose words will be backed by My power. These are those who have humbled themselves; they have lowered themselves and have been willing to lay down their lives for the sake of the Kingdom. Those I will trust to demonstrate My power in the earth,” says the Lord.

As I revisited this word, I realized that the key to overcoming fear and anxiety in this age is to have a Kingdom mindset. We must realize that Jesus, Himself, said, “The Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence and the violent take it by force.” (Mt. 11:12) What this means to us is that we are a people who remember that we are citizens of Heaven and we are seated above terrors in heavenly places with Christ Jesus. If we die to ourselves and live fully alive to His ways, we will have the mind of Christ. With His heart and mind, we will have strategies to overcome the works of darkness in our spheres of influence that He has given to us. We will do this by appropriating His victory on Calvary…this is VIOLENT LOVE. Love that is violent sounds like a dichotomy. But, when we view it from Calvary’s perspective, we understand it. The most violent, hateful terrorizing act that has ever occurred, took place at the crucifixion. Jesus willingly laid down His life. HE IS LOVE completely and fully demonstrated.

This love is radically without limits–unconditional love that knows no prejudice or judgements. It is mercy for all people regardless of their past or present behaviors. This is the key Jesus is giving us so that we overcome. Once again, let us consider the “Love Chapter,” 1 Corinthians 13. Try placing the name of Jesus anywhere the word “love” is used. Now, try placing your own name there. When I did this, I realized that I still have a long way to go to become like Him. I am so grateful He stands in the gap for me!

We are filled with anticipation about the days ahead. We have a future and a hope because He has planned it for us! Our prayers for you this month are going to be targeting your divine purpose and destiny as Kingdom ambassadors. Wherever you go, let His Kingdom come! Miracles will follow.

We are so grateful for you and your partnership with us for the move of God. This month we had an awesome gathering: “Men of Revival: Ignite and Unite!” Your gifts made this first time gathering possible and set many men on course for the future. As well, we have been able to send more support to India to help Pastor Roy Cheryian with his needs there. We are also rejoicing that we have been able to hire Bama Spoon to help us one day a week in the office. Her first week was last week and she is helping us with FGSOR records for the 70 prisoners at Florence who are part of our school.There are so many ways your gifts are helping that we can’t even mention them all! You are making a difference and we are blessed!
